Vented back

Air moves where the heat builds.

Double-breasted

Black studded buttons, mandarin collar.

Sleeve pocket

Thermometer and pen stay on the arm.

Non-shrink

Holds shape through a commercial wash.

Why it works

Built around the vent.

The panel down the centre back is the whole point of this jacket. Everything else is cut so it can do its job.

  • 01
    Centre-back panel

Sits exactly where a service line puts the most heat.

  • 02
    Short sleeve

Nothing to catch on a pass or drag through a plate.

  • 03
    Poly cotton body

Non-shrink, so the fit you buy is the fit you keep.

The vented back panel, worn

Still deciding

Product questions.

This is the Original — it carries the full embroidered crest. The cut, the fabric and the vent are identical across all three.

Machine washable. The poly cotton is non-shrink, so it holds its shape and colour through a commercial wash cycle.

Free on UK orders over £20. Under £20 there is a flat £2.99 charge — adding a second piece usually costs less than paying the delivery.

UK orders typically arrive in 3–5 working days, and you get a tracking email as soon as it ships.

Yes — unworn and unused items can be returned within 30 days of purchase.

Light fabric, know what you're getting

Thinner than a traditional jacket which is what I wanted. If you like a heavy jacket this won't be for you. Still feels tough enough for daily use.

Vents actually work

My section is right next to the grill and by 8pm I'm usually done in. First jacket I've worn where the back panel makes a real difference. Bought a second one two weeks later.

Non shrink is not a lie

Some places say non shrink and it still comes out a size smaller. This hasn't moved at all.

Third one I've bought

Whole section is wearing these now. Chef saw mine and ordered four more for the brigade.

Twelve hour shift and still comfortable

Saturday double, kitchen was around forty degrees at peak. Came off shift and my back was dry. Never happened in a normal jacket.

Good jacket, bit boxy

No complaints on the build. Buttons are solid, stitching is neat, the vent is proper. Just a touch loose across the shoulders on me. Took a M, probably should have gone S.

Thanks Owen. Noted on the shoulders, our S is the closer fit if you fancy swapping.

Bought for my son

He started his apprenticeship in September and needed something decent without spending a fortune. He says it's the comfiest one in the kitchen.

Back panel is the whole point

You don't realise how much heat sits against your back until you wear something with a proper vent. Won't go back now.

Buy two

Wash one wear one, simple as that. Holds its shape after a hot wash which is more than I can say for the last lot I had from the uniform shop.

Cheaper than my old one and better

Was paying nearly three times this at a catering supplier for something that went grey after a month. This has been through the wash maybe twenty times and still looks new.

Crest is a nice touch

Small detail but the embroidery on the sleeve is properly stitched, not printed. Still perfect after months of washing.

Looks smarter than the price suggests

Honestly thought it would feel thin for the money. It doesn't. Collar sits properly, front is flat, no gaping.

Colour is very white

Which is fine, it just shows everything. Bought the black as well for messier sections and that one is much more forgiving.

Washes well

Sixty degree wash, tumble dried, no shrinking and no bobbling. Been about four months now.

Sleeve pocket is small

Really happy overall. Only gripe is the sleeve pocket just about takes a thermometer, no room for a pen as well. Everything else is spot on.

Ideal for agency work

Different kitchen most days so I need something that packs small and doesn't crease to bits in a bag. This is the only one I take now.

Ordered L as I normally would and it's roomy. Not a problem for me, I like a bit of movement, but worth knowing.

Pizza oven kitchen. Enough said. The airflow through the back is the only reason I got through August.

Buttons need pushing in properly

First shift I lost one because I hadn't clicked it fully home. My fault not the jacket's. Once you get the knack they stay put.
